I only accept payment via Paypal for items purchased on this site.
PayPal will add 10% packing and posting cost to items under £75 and 5% to items over £75. If you wish to buyu multiple items please contact me to set up a button to cover it all.
I will send in the UK via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery which means the package will have to be signed for. If you are out, you will be left a note by the postman and you may have to collect from your nearest sorting office.
This is not a shopping cart or catalogue style shop and you should contact me via email or telephone before you order your goods online to check that I can make what you want within your timescale. I check my email and myspace every day and I will answer my phone up to about 21:00.
It may be possible to deliver your goods in person, depending on your location but I'll still add the P&P charge for my petrol and time.
Quality, returns and refunds...
As with all wool products, handmade felt will gain a fluffy or bobbly effect which is part of general wear and tear and no refunds will be given for this reason. Please see the Care information page for details on how to look after felt.
I endeavor to make a quality product strong enough to withstand the intended day to day use. I always try to sew on buttons more securely than you will find on manufactured goods from the high street and linings are attached with three rows of stitching (where included). I will happily repair or replace at my discretion any item deemed to have broken due to normal everyday use. I cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged by reckless use i.e. carrying sharp things in a felt bag.
As each item on this site is handmade it is essentially a one off and images shown should only be used as a guide. The products available on this site are my most popular designs which I make available in a choice of colours but you should not expect your purchase to look exactly like the image provided.
Where a personalised item is ordered spellings will be as per your email request. If I think a spelling looks wrong I will contact you to check but I cannot offer refunds if you have provided incorrect requests.
Unfortunately I cannot refund unwanted goods, I am not a high street shop, though if the product is unused I can offer an alternative product if you are happy to incur the potage costs and return the original.
Care...
As with all wool products, handmade felt will pill or gain a fluffy or bobbly effect. Trim this with sharp scissors and do not pull at fibres. Wool products will shrink with the effects of heat, moisture and friction. It is recommended that JamBag products are not washed at all and no responsibility can be taken for any items which have been washed. Some Jambag products are stiffened to hold shape and should never be washed.
However should you choose to wash your hand felted item, do so in either cold water by hand or at a 'woolens' setting in your machine and spin gently. You will need to reshape your items before drying.
Health and Safety...
Felt products are not bound by any product information laws regarding content but it should be noted that any JamBag products may contain wool from a number of breeds of sheep as well as mohair, silks, cottons, viscose and alpaca and may affect some asthma and allergy sufferers. Cushions Covers are supplied with feather cushions unless otherwise requested.
